3 Lé – By Paul-John Titterton

I was so happy to receive this beautiful gift today from the incredibly talented Paul-John Titterton, who dedicated the first piece of his collection to me.

Paul-John is a London based designer with experience in graphic design as well as retail and fashion (working for brands such as The Kooples). I love how both these talents show through in his minimal, clean cut but very strong design. Futuristic minimalism with a hint of rock’n roll, it couldn’t suit me better

Can’t wait to wear this black kimono-style, cotton canvas jacket with a nice clean shaped silky dress or dressed down with some straight boyfriend jeans.

Markus Lupfer + shu uemura

Fashion Designer Murkus Lupfur collaborated with high-end make-up brand Shu Umera and created some limited design packaging for a selection of their to products. As a graphic designer myself, I am always a big fan of how Fashion + Graphic Design + Beauty come together. So I was happy to go to the celebrating of the launch at Selfridges yesterday evening. Markus Lupfur himself was there and we had a lovely chat about the design industry and how he got his inspiration for the limited edition collection from the tropical summer moments last year.

A Shu Uemera make-up artist showed me how to use their products and created a very smokey look for me (which was perfect, as I was attending the MAA Awards After Party after this).

The limited edition packaging, sold HERE

Having an inspiring conversation with Markus

Trying out some Shu Uemura essentials

Wasn’t sure about the look at first (hence the face) as I normally don’t really wear so much dark make up…

but embraced the look and continued a night full of parties (Diesel Exposure Launch Party and MAA Awards After Party – more about this soon)

Looking forward to the weekend now, time for some relaxing (and packing for Cambodia!) Happy Friday everyone.

Motel London Sample Sale

I’m back in London, finally, feels like it has been ages. I even forgot about these beauties I bought before I left.

Last Thursday, when the whole of London was getting ready for Fashion Week, Motel Rocks did a sample sale.  I was so happy to find out it was very close to the agency I work for, so I could just pop in over my lunch break.

I found this hand printed silky top and (finally) I scored a new black skinny, high-wasted jeans (for only 15 pounds)!

Thanks Motel, for making me a very happy girl that day.

DASH Magazine: Launch Party

Dash Magazine is a new launched high fashion editorial, lifestyle, illustration and art magazine. As a graphic Designer myself with a big love for fashion, this is a match made in haven.

That’s why I was incredibly happy when I found out I was invited to the launch party AND after party yesterday.

The party started in the trendy East- London at Vyner Street in a beautiful minimal, white venue with some of the real art pieces featured in the first issue exposed on the walls.

Sponsored by Absolut Vodka , Peroni, Ty Nant and Tyrrells crisps, I don’t have to explain this was a success creatively as well as socially with a very trendy young crowd. (There was also an amazing after party, held at the W hotel, more about that here)

Our friend, Canadian Artist Yaz looked amazing all in black.

Drinks where supplied by Absolut Wodka and Peroni

A preview of hat you can expect of the current issue, beautifful lay-outs and a good balance between fashion and (graphic/illustration) design, I like:

DASH is available for £6 from in selected news agents and booksellers worldwide (as well as during London Fashion Week), definitely worth getting a copy!

More about DASH Magazine here.

Make sure you check out my post about the after party as wel here!

DASH Magazine: After Party

After an inspiring Launch Party in East London (view previous post) the after party was held in the more central Wyld bar at the fancy W hotel with drinks supplied by Pernod Absynthe.

Increbible dj’s, good cocktails and a sexy, fashionable crowd turned the event into a top evening for both the Fashion and Art industries.

The entrance of the W Hotel

Had to take the lift to go to the party, with nice views over Central London

I was wearing my sheer H&M Trend top + leather arm cuffs (also seen here), Zara Blazer, Mango pants and Topshop Heels.

Misha Barton?

Amazing people, amazing music, amazing times. Couldn’t stop dancing.

Big thanks to Dash Magazine and the Wyld bar at the W hotel!

Buns & roses

As you all know, it was V-day yesterday. me and my bofriend didn’t really plan to do anything, as we where both working in the day, and have a week full of pre-parties/launched/… for LFW ahead of us.

But, as we where op quite early in the morning, we decided to have a nice breakfast out together. We went to this amazing place near us called the Scandinavian Kitchen. As it is almost opposite the agency I work for,  I could stay warm and cozy until 5 minutes before I had to start. I really love Scandinavian food as it is always so healthy and pure.(AND it fits with the nordic cold weather at the moment!). Besides  honest priced meals, the Scandinavian Kitchen also has a little supper market inside with some real Scandinavian goodness!

Love the place!

I was wearing my new, nude colored KG beanie hat +  Leather jacket from Only + Black Forever 21 dress + American Apparel Male Cardigan & Clutch + Leather Primark gloves  + Topshop boots

(More about The Scandinavian Kitchen here)

How was your v-day?
