I just found some photos from last LFW: Dash magazine party vol2. I’ve got such good memories from that night ,so I thought I’d share them. (and off course cause DASH is a super inspiring magazine anyway!) With fashion week just a couple of weeks away, this might get you in the mood already!
So back in September, we where invited to their September Issue Party at Press Play Films in Vyner Street and after their launch party the year before (photos here), we knew this would be unmissable!
Sponsored by Jameson, Peroni, Zeitgeist, Ty Nant, TINALILIENTHAL, Ena Salon and Nail Rock and curated by Ryan Lanji, it was the perfect start of London Fashion week. Good location, good canapés, and goodie bags = a more than good evening.
Dash is THE international fashion magazine with a strong focus on fashion illustration. Get yourself a copy! http://dashmagazine.net/

Dash Magazine is a new launched high fashion editorial, lifestyle, illustration and art magazine. As a graphic Designer myself with a big love for fashion, this is a match made in haven.
That’s why I was incredibly happy when I found out I was invited to the launch party AND after party yesterday.
The party started in the trendy East- London at Vyner Street in a beautiful minimal, white venue with some of the real art pieces featured in the first issue exposed on the walls.
Sponsored by Absolut Vodka , Peroni, Ty Nant and Tyrrells crisps, I don’t have to explain this was a success creatively as well as socially with a very trendy young crowd. (There was also an amazing after party, held at the W hotel, more about that here)
Our friend, Canadian Artist Yaz looked amazing all in black.
Drinks where supplied by Absolut Wodka and Peroni
A preview of hat you can expect of the current issue, beautifful lay-outs and a good balance between fashion and (graphic/illustration) design, I like:
DASH is available for £6 from in selected news agents and booksellers worldwide (as well as during London Fashion Week), definitely worth getting a copy!
More about DASH Magazine here.
Make sure you check out my post about the after party as wel here!
Yes, it’s true, I still can’t believe it myself.
It was just a normal Monday at the agency wit to many coffees and to little time when I got a phone call from an unknown number . It turned out to be Harper’s Bazaar UK, they told me I was invited to meet he one and only Manolo Blahnik. I couldn’t believe my ears (I honestly thought I fell a sleep during one of my many Sex and the City marathons). But I wasn’t dreaming, this Wednesday I am invited to the Manolo Blahnik BFI Screen Epiphany pre-screening drinks reception at the BFI in London including drinks and canapés, a talk with Manolo and the screening of his favourite Italian movie ‘Divorce, Italian style’.
Love this pair from the spring/summer collection 2012:
Divorce, Italian style (the movie that will be screened on the night)
I will definitely take my camera, so stay tuned for a complete review of the party on Thursday!
This just leaves me with one problem:
“A closet full of clothes, but nothing to wear…”
