A couple of weeks ago, London based freelance photographer Enzo Mercedes took these amazing shots of me and my boyfriend to add to his portfolio. Enzo worked for some of the biggest magazines, so we felt very honored to work with him.
I very much like the results, and thought I’d share some of them with you.
I am wearing: burgundy shirt: The Kooples, burgundy skinny jeans: Topshop, Boots: Topshop
Paul is wearing: Bronze Suit jacket: The Kooples, Black silk t-shirt: The Kooples

Last week, when I was cleaning out my closet looking for old treasures (also see this post), I rediscovered my dusty pink Simone Hooper dress I bought last summer.
So, as it is incredibly sunny in London, I decided to layer this summer dress up a bit with my Vintage Armani shirt (also seen here) , and actually wear it as a “winter piece” to go out, have some lunch, do some shopping, wander around Selfridges (amazing around Valentines time , think: free chocolate fountain taster etc).
Wearing Simone Hooper dress, Giorgio Armani vintage shirt, Only leather Jacket, Topshop Boots, Primark leather gloves, Rayban Sunglasses
Met Paul for lunch, he looked pretty smart in his all Kooples outfitt
Oh how much I love the sunny streets of London
Hope you’re also enjoying a Sunny weekend!
Before the snow hit London and turned everything white, I met up with Paul for lunch yesterday. As he is working at The Koopels in Selfridges, we met at the Wagamama on the corner at his lunch break. Paul brought me the new look books, and as I told in my previous post (look here), the new collection is amazing.
I’ve loved Wagamama since I discovered it in Antwerp when I was still studying. So happy I can also enjoy it in London.
Today, we had some nice miso soup, skipped main course and went straight into a massive dessert; deep fried apple gyoza’s with ginger, cinnamon and vanilla custard, just what we needed to warm up.
I was wearing: Shirt: Zara, Jeans: Primark, Boots: Topshop, Clutch:American Apparel (+ my warm Zara coat)

Since their launch in 2008 I’ve been a big fan of the French brand The Kooples. The way they place their brand in the market ( beautiful adds, with real, rock & roll couples) is one of the best branding strategies in fashion at the moment I think.
This year the Kooples has lots of exciting things happening with a launch of their sports brand and collaboration with the lovely Pete Doherty. Because my boyfriend works for the couples I’ve been seeing some bits and pieces from the new collection for a while, but finally I can blog about them as well, as their new look books are officially out now.
Even if the Kooples is all about rock & roll, and skulls, leather and dark colours was a prominence in their previous collections, they aren’t skipping the pastel trend this year and use loads of soft, faded colours in their Spring/Summer collection. I think that definitely doesn’t take away any of the power and coolness off their clothes though, have a look:
