The best thing in London (and possibly also the worst) is that there are shopping opportunities everywhere. Around this time, most stores are having mid -season sales, which I off course can’t resist. These are some of my latest sale treasures:
- Black sleeveless shirt: Topshop
- Black thin straps racerback top with lace detail: Topshop
- Grey knitted top: Urban Outfitters
- Pale yellow dress: Primark
- Silver tee: Topshop
As you all know, it was V-day yesterday. me and my bofriend didn’t really plan to do anything, as we where both working in the day, and have a week full of pre-parties/launched/… for LFW ahead of us.
But, as we where op quite early in the morning, we decided to have a nice breakfast out together. We went to this amazing place near us called the Scandinavian Kitchen. As it is almost opposite the agency I work for, I could stay warm and cozy until 5 minutes before I had to start. I really love Scandinavian food as it is always so healthy and pure.(AND it fits with the nordic cold weather at the moment!). Besides honest priced meals, the Scandinavian Kitchen also has a little supper market inside with some real Scandinavian goodness!
Love the place!
I was wearing my new, nude colored KG beanie hat + Leather jacket from Only + Black Forever 21 dress + American Apparel Male Cardigan & Clutch + Leather Primark gloves + Topshop boots

How was your v-day?

A couple of weeks ago, London based freelance photographer Enzo Mercedes took these amazing shots of me and my boyfriend to add to his portfolio. Enzo worked for some of the biggest magazines, so we felt very honored to work with him.
I very much like the results, and thought I’d share some of them with you.
I am wearing: burgundy shirt: The Kooples, burgundy skinny jeans: Topshop, Boots: Topshop
Paul is wearing: Bronze Suit jacket: The Kooples, Black silk t-shirt: The Kooples

Last week, when I was cleaning out my closet looking for old treasures (also see this post), I rediscovered my dusty pink Simone Hooper dress I bought last summer.
So, as it is incredibly sunny in London, I decided to layer this summer dress up a bit with my Vintage Armani shirt (also seen here) , and actually wear it as a “winter piece” to go out, have some lunch, do some shopping, wander around Selfridges (amazing around Valentines time , think: free chocolate fountain taster etc).
Wearing Simone Hooper dress, Giorgio Armani vintage shirt, Only leather Jacket, Topshop Boots, Primark leather gloves, Rayban Sunglasses
Met Paul for lunch, he looked pretty smart in his all Kooples outfitt
Oh how much I love the sunny streets of London
Hope you’re also enjoying a Sunny weekend!

Yesterday evening, Topshop Edited in Oxford Street gave us a little preview of their upcoming Unique collection AND collaborating with Mary K. Even if it was snowing like crazy outside, summer arrived inside, with cocktails and models wearing the Unique ss ’12 collection.
The Unique collection is inspired by Elizabeth Taylor in the iconic 1963 adaptation of Cleopatra and 90s hip-hop. So expect loads of Egyptian geometric patters and gold details.
But the highlight of the event was definitely the collaboration between Topshop and designer Mary Katrantzou with her eclectic floral patterns. Mary K. is a well renowned Greek fashion designer, and even if I’m not much of a print fan, Mary K’s print overdosed pieces always seduce me, if you go for print, you should go all the way!
The Unique Collection, inspired by Elizabeth Taylor:
The Unique collection is in stores now, and the Mary K. collection will officially be launched in Topshop on February 17th, the first day of London fashion Week.
What do you think about it? To much prints, or the exact right (over)dose?
Before the snow hit London and turned everything white, I met up with Paul for lunch yesterday. As he is working at The Koopels in Selfridges, we met at the Wagamama on the corner at his lunch break. Paul brought me the new look books, and as I told in my previous post (look here), the new collection is amazing.
I’ve loved Wagamama since I discovered it in Antwerp when I was still studying. So happy I can also enjoy it in London.
Today, we had some nice miso soup, skipped main course and went straight into a massive dessert; deep fried apple gyoza’s with ginger, cinnamon and vanilla custard, just what we needed to warm up.
I was wearing: Shirt: Zara, Jeans: Primark, Boots: Topshop, Clutch:American Apparel (+ my warm Zara coat)

Just trying to keep myself warm these days, with 1000 and 1 layers (including using my back-up closet: my boyfriends’)
Layer 1: Knitted top: Urban outfitters London, Skirt: Urban Outfitters NY, Clutch: American Apparel, Watch: Cheapo
Layer 2: Black boyfriend blazer: Primark, Booties: Topshop
Layer 3: Dark navy coat: Muiji (my boyfriends’, as my fitted coat didn’t fit over all my layers anymore) Gold Broche: Nike (boyfriend), Leather gloves: Primark
Layer 4? Still needed a hot soup to warm up, so we went to Tossed in Mortimer Street on my lunch break for some amazing healthy food.
What are your tips to warm up in this freezing weather?

I love lazy Sundays like these, let the sunshine in, don’t go out only to grab a quick coffee and stay in, feel the silky fabrics on your skin. Nothing feels better after a very busy week in Central London.

Love reading magazines all day and eating my current addiction: wasabi peanuts.
