With the Mens Collections behind us, and London Fashion Week quickly coming closer, I love getting in the mood by going through some snapshot of previous fashion week parties last year.
Hard to to top these good nights London, but I dare you…

I just found some photos from last LFW: Dash magazine party vol2. I’ve got such good memories from that night ,so I thought I’d share them. (and off course cause DASH is a super inspiring magazine anyway!) With fashion week just a couple of weeks away, this might get you in the mood already!
So back in September, we where invited to their September Issue Party at Press Play Films in Vyner Street and after their launch party the year before (photos here), we knew this would be unmissable!
Sponsored by Jameson, Peroni, Zeitgeist, Ty Nant, TINALILIENTHAL, Ena Salon and Nail Rock and curated by Ryan Lanji, it was the perfect start of London Fashion week. Good location, good canapés, and goodie bags = a more than good evening.
Dash is THE international fashion magazine with a strong focus on fashion illustration. Get yourself a copy! http://dashmagazine.net/

It was my birthday last weekend, and I had a blast! Paul baked vegan carrot cupcakes and suprised me with champagne and presents in bed for breakfast. In the evening, he took me to the House of Wolf (amazing place in Islington, check it out here) for some ‘experimental dining’ and we went drinking and dancing after in Stoke Newington/ Dalston. Here’s some snapshots of an amazing night, thanks everyone who came out and for the birthday wishes.

Nothing wrong with dreaming away with some good indian summer memories. One of my favourite ones lately is the first weekends of September. We went to the Dalston Roof Park , just around the corner of our new place, and enjoyed an amazing Southern American syle lazy lunch, organised by The Art of Dining, a young company that combines food, set design and art (anybody who knows me even a little bit would know I am a sucker for a combination like that!)
It definitely felt like the laziest lunch in London town that Sunday, with five courses, picnic baskets filled with treasures, old romantic novels and slightly Southern American style music in the background. This all combined with cocktails, East-London views and a good, after summer sun made it an incredible, chilled day. Exactly how a Sunday should be.
On the menu:
–Baked beans slow cooked bean and molasses soup served in an American biscuit bowl
– Sweet potato ice cream with a ginger bread flake
(Definitely check out their website for some more pop-up culinair fests to come: www.theartofdining.co.uk)
Went for a coffee at Beyond Retro on the way.
Home-made bread and strong cocktails
Corn on the cob served Mexican style
bean soup served in an American biscuit bowl
Our picnic basket friend admiring the sweet potato ice cream
After the lazy lunch, we decided to do some low effort activities as we where too full to move. We went to check out some galleries at the Hackney Wicked Festival and just enjoyed coffee, drinks and art.
Let’s all hope for more sunny weekends to come, or just dream away with the ones we had.

Last Thursday, (before going to the shu uemura Launch and MAA Awards After Party) we went tot the Diesel Light Exposure Launch Party. The whole event was mainly about the launch of the Light Exposure male collection, but hey, don’t we all love some nice, comfy boyfriend jeans?
It was a great evening with music provided by the beautiful model/TV presenter Jameela Jamil.More about the new collection HERE

Before I start packing for Cambodia and get in the summer mood, I’m going to share some Austrian memories from last weeks ski holiday.
Besides beautiful, dreamy mountain views (see them here) it was a holiday full of good food, bacon tequillas and family fun.
More holiday memories here.
Have a nice weekend everybody!

Fashion Designer Murkus Lupfur collaborated with high-end make-up brand Shu Umera and created some limited design packaging for a selection of their to products. As a graphic designer myself, I am always a big fan of how Fashion + Graphic Design + Beauty come together. So I was happy to go to the celebrating of the launch at Selfridges yesterday evening. Markus Lupfur himself was there and we had a lovely chat about the design industry and how he got his inspiration for the limited edition collection from the tropical summer moments last year.
A Shu Uemera make-up artist showed me how to use their products and created a very smokey look for me (which was perfect, as I was attending the MAA Awards After Party after this).
The limited edition packaging, sold HERE
Having an inspiring conversation with Markus
Trying out some Shu Uemura essentials
Wasn’t sure about the look at first (hence the face) as I normally don’t really wear so much dark make up…
but embraced the look and continued a night full of parties (Diesel Exposure Launch Party and MAA Awards After Party – more about this soon)
Looking forward to the weekend now, time for some relaxing (and packing for Cambodia!) Happy Friday everyone.

As I am going to Cambodia in exactly 1 week, I tough I’d get some new, light summer basics to bear the heat. And where else to go then H&M trend for some quality basics with an edge? I literally like almost all the pieces of their new collection, but kept it sober, to save some spending money for the trip!
So I got myself:
(view other H&M Trend pieces I bough recently HERE)
Already wearing the white tee today on my leather skinnies. It’s super sunny in London, so some sheer fabrics are always nice to get some sun on your skin. (outfit photos here)
Got a very busy night full of parties planned now, straight after work:
